LED Laboratory

The lamp and lighting laboratory takes a medium to long range point of view to basic and applied research for new technology and new products.

The laboratory’s operations cover all aspects of software and hardware applications technology.

Its research into advanced optical and electronics technology encompasses new age thinking with lighting and illumination, optical design, development of light fittings, radiation technology and applications, lighting circuits, electrical circuits and signal contact systems.

The company forayed into the house wire segment of market under the brand ‘Rhino’. In 2016, Rhino launched widest range of LED products – commercial, domestic, road lighting, area lighting & industrial lighting. With the rise in emphasis is on Digital India, Gupta Power also introduced complete range of end-to-end terrestrial Optical Fiber Cables in 2017.

EPC division started with an objective of empowering lives by offering integrated turnkey solution. The division has a dedicated team of designers and engineers for successful project execution. To strengthen the EPC division work they have started manufacturing HTLS Conductor. The specialty of the conductor is it has high current carrying capacity and low sag-tension property. Installation of this conductor is easy and rapid.

Currently, Rhino retail products are available through 500 registered dealers and distributors and over 5000 retail outlets across country. There are 3 ultra modern manufacturing facilities with latest technologies in its SBUs. Plants at Khurda and Kashipur make both cables and conductors where as the one located near Chennai is dedicated towards manufacturing of conductors. For quality products Gupta Power has established in-house R&D division, hi-tech laboratory and quality assurance division. Gupta Power has been driving growth with best in smart innovations.To deliver advanced and durable conductors, GPIL started manufacturing ACCC and HTLS Conductors in technical collaboration with CTC Global, USA. The specialties of these conductors are they have high current carrying capacity and low sag-tension property. Installations of these conductors are easy and rapid. Gupta Power has collaborated with Trefilados De Navarra SA (TREFINASA) Spain for manufacturing and supply of GAP product lines.
